      <image:title>Dr. Emily Seager - Emily Seager DVM</image:title>
<image:caption>Dr. Emily Seager graduated from OVC in 2005 and has been practicing at Graham Animal Hospital ever since. She does not have a specialty but has become known as the cat lady, although hopefully not crazy. While she finds doggos and pocket pets as equally fun as cats, there are no snakes allowed in the clinic. She lives in Guelph with her husband and family and is the mom of two kids, a cat, and numerous rescue rats and betta fish over the years! In her laughable free time, she enjoys traveling (but not nearly enough), paddleboarding, crocheting, plants of all kinds, and true crime podcasts. In the summer, you can find her at the cottage in Quebec, but not speaking French well. Outside of that, you can find her at the clinic: finishing files, researching cool cases, and joking with her awesome coworkers.</image:caption>

<image:title>Dr. Victor Sprenger - VICTOR SPRENGER DVM, MSc, BSc</image:title>
<image:caption>Dr. Victor Sprenger came to Graham Animal Hospital in 2010 after graduating. He enjoys general medicine and surgery, with an interest in orthopedics and dental surgery. Graduation from vet school was a culmination of 13 years of post-secondary education, including a Masters in Engineering (biomechanical engineering computer models of horse legs) before doing his DVM degree at OVC. Victor lives in the country with his wife, three kids, a golden retriever with long eyelashes named Cookie and a cat named Kitty. His interests are many. In the past, he was a competitive greco-roman wrestler, missing the 2008 Olympics by one placing at the Pan American Championships. Now, he enjoys playing with his kids outside in the woods, ‘homesteading’ (vegetable gardening, making maple syrup, taking care of the chickens and such), camping and canoeing with his family and mountain-biking when he gets the chance. His dream is to have a network of urban community gardens which allow people access to healthy food who might not have the ability to do so otherwise. In addition, he has an interest in veterinary care in developing nations and creating food stability.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Dr. Denise Lukacs received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in 2010. She completed her Master’s degree in Animal Behavior and Welfare, with a research interest in the behaviour and thermoregulation of elephants and giraffes. Dr. Lukacs completed her veterinary degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. During university, Dr. Lukacs continued to work at Graham Animal Hospital, as a veterinary assistant, where she gained valuable experience in general practice and reproduction medicine. Dr. Lukacs completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital, near Miami, Florida, where the majority of her time was spent on the emergency and critical care service, as well as rotating with specialties in surgery, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology and cardiology. Dr. Lukacs continues to enjoy emergency medicine, and also looks after the veterinary care for a local kitten rescue. When she isn’t working, Dr. Lukacs spends her free time horseback riding, having competed to the international level in eventing. If you can’t find her at the clinic, she is usually at the barn, looking after her four horses. Dr. Lukacs also enjoys spending time with her two cats.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Dr. Andrea Malatestinic - andrea malatestinic DVM</image:title>
<image:caption>Dr. Andrea Malatestinic grew up with dogs and horses in her heart and soul in the suburbs outside of Saint John, New Brunswick. Her childhood was spent either riding and showing horses and ponies, or by her mother’s side in the dog show world breeding and exhibiting Newfoundlands and English Cocker Spaniels. After graduating from high school, Andrea left the Maritimes and made her way to Ontario where she spent several years training and competing in the Equestrian discipline of 3 Day Eventing which eventually earned her a spot on the 1992 Canadian 3 Day Event Team Long List. With her sights on a more stable career, Veterinary School soon beckoned and she attended the Ontario Veterinary College graduating in 2002. Following graduation, Andrea was blessed to have the opportunity to work at both an Equine Performance Horse practice and at Graham Animal Hospital. With her interests equally divided between horses and small animals, she eventually made the difficult decision to focus on Equine Veterinary practice, and for 17 years was a successful Equine Performance Horse Veterinarian in Southern Ontario. But the draw to go back to Small Animal Practice was strong and she found herself back at Graham Animal Hospital again in May 2020. Andrea is devoted to promoting Pure Bred dogs and brings years of practical experience to small animal veterinary medicine. She is a passionate exhibitor and breeder of Bullmastiffs, and is proud to have owner- handled her dogs to many prestigious wins in both Canada and the United States. Her interests in small animal practice are in internal medicine, lameness, acupuncture and canine reproduction.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Dr. Jamie Freeman-Braganca received a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Guelph, where she went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2018. During her studies, Jamie worked as a veterinary assistant at the Graham Animal Hospital, learning from the doctors, staff and clients alike. After graduation, Jamie worked as a general practitioner in Northern Ontario providing both routine and emergency care in a busy small animal practice. Dr. Jamie has a passion for animal welfare, client education and accessible veterinary care, which led her to a position at the Toronto Humane Society in 2019. Although she continues her work there part-time, Dr. Jamie has shifted her focus to providing locum services to small animal clinics in Southern Ontario. This is how she found her way back to the Graham Animal Hospital! Dr. Jamie’s areas of interest include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, behaviour and dermatology. When she is not working she can be found gardening, baking, hiking or fostering kittens!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Brittany graduated from Georgian College’s veterinary technician program in 2009. She then moved to Calgary and started her career in a large 24-hour emergency/primary care facility. Her first few years were spent in emergency, and she eventually moved over to the primary care side, with a focus on exotics. This mixed clinic setting allowed her to gain valuable knowledge in both emergency medicine and general practice. Originally from this area, Brittany returned to Guelph in 2019 and started working at Graham Animal Hospital in March of the same year. Her special interests include emergencies, nursing care, and exotic species (rabbits, birds, reptiles etc.) Brittany shares her home with her three children and her cat Polkadot. Brittany’s favourite reading genre is non-fiction, particularly books about the environment and sustainability. You can find Brittany and her kids hiking and exploring all the outdoor activities Ontario has to offer.</image:caption>
